Marla Nuttman

Hi! I am Marla Nuttman. I found a passion for storytelling as an adult and eventually found my way to Chemeketa’s Visual Communications program. During my time in the program, I have learned the visual aspects of art, including filmmaking, photography, and animation, plus sound production. I have expanded my community to include many talented artists. When I am not in school, I volunteer for nonprofit organizations in my community. I have directed and worked on many plays and have produced fundraising events at Gallery Theater in McMinnville. I regularly produce a local theater-focused TV show for McMinnville Community Media. Recently, I engineered an audiobook titled Oregon Loves New York: A Story of American Unity After 9/11 which chronicled the events one thousand Oregonians (including me) who traveled to New York in the aftermath of September 11. I live in McMinnville with my husband Lance and three rescue cats.
